"Diane, this is Stone Catcherye. Coop lent me the recorder to record some songs we're working on together. Don't know if he's told you before, but he's a damn fine drummer. Also knows how to make a very damn good cup of coffee. We met at an electronic music convention at The Great Northern Hotel. We met in the bar where DDD was giving a mini moog performance. He was wearing this outfit that somehow was glowing like a neon light. I knew instantly that I could work with him. DDD has two right hands and three left feet. He will be on keys and lead guitar. Coop, DDD & I grabbed a table and immediately hit it off, answering each other's sentences. We knew right then that we should write some music together. Cooper said he had a friend from work who played bass, Phillip Jeffries, who was also at the convention but has been known to disappear from time to time. We spent the next week of the convention, ten days actually, not counting travel, jamming late night in Cooper's room. We wrote a song a night, recording it all on this here recorder, Diane. After the week, we met up or emailed each other tracks periodically to re-record the songs with better quality. We also named our band. We're called Keep The Fear
