"hello Diane, it's been SO long. My fault really, I got stuck in Paris when CoVid started. I was staying at this woman's house who I met at a local club and we seemed to hit it off dancing, but the best bit was that I don't speak a lick of French. I had to keep calling Stoney & D3 to have them translate for me. Coop told me not to get involved with French women unless they knew how to make a specific style of doughut. Her father owns an organic pastry/donut shoppe.
Needless to say I've been "cooped" up too long with this whole pandemic going on. oh, and the weird bit about these tunes is that we actually lost contact with D3, so the title made even more sense, "The Lost D3 Tapes," I mean, we couldn't actually see each other with all the lockdowns, but everytime we tried to send files or cd's or thumbdrives, odd accidents happened which would usually destroy them. The only way we could get his parts was for him to hum them to Stoney over an old early 2000's cell phone and Stoney would try to re-play them, if you will.
This is the first time we've not been able to all be physically in the final project. But our energy was surely there, partying. Heavily.
More words soon, Diane, yours truly, PJ"
lyrics
The Kind Of Girl That Makes You Wish You Spoke A Little French
standing on the edge
I wish she were by me
if only I knew some French
I'd speak violently
I've been, I've been wandering
through minds dripping fire
blue eyes caged desire
did you look for me to fall apart without you
don't you know I know you, you're broke
did you doubt my sweet tooth
'cause sugar's sweet without you
don't you know I've grown too, old
and if your head is slightly bent, like me
if you're ok to part with that, ce la vie
and if you're down to speak in laugh...
yeah I've been wandering
through skies of barbed wire
my mind sparks a fire
did you look for me to fall apart without you
don't you know I know you, you're broke
standing on cloud 9
thankful of the stars for who I find
this one creature blew my mind
my friend 'til the end
I love her light
and if your head is slightly bent, like me
if you're ok to part with that, ce la vie
and if you're down to speak in laugh...
